• Short nail: diameter of 8.0/9.5mm, length of 160mm.
• Long nail: diameter of 7.0/8.5mm, length of 180-315mm (15mm intervals).
All nails feature left and right designs, constructed from biocompatible titanium alloy. The simple instrumentation configuration ensures easy operation and minimally invasive placement.
Multi-plane and multi-locking screw fixation options provide versatile choices for surgical operations to achieve optimal stability. The screw-in-screw design further enhances fixation strength in osteoporotic bone. Blunt-head locking screw design minimizes the risk of excessive penetration, while the countersunk design reduces local soft tissue irritation.
• Short screw: Features two locking holes in different planes.
• Long screw: Includes three locking holes placed within the safe zone between the median nerve and radial nerve to avoid key blood vessels. Two anterior-posterior locking holes facilitate manual insertion and minimize the risk of rotation or displacement of distal fractures.
The nail diameter should occupy 30-40% of the narrowest transverse diameter of the medullary cavity. Suitable applications:
• 3.0mm: for 6-8 years old
• 3.5mm: for 9-11 years old
• 4.0mm: for 12-14 years old
The special design of the compression holes helps enhance the overall stability of transverse or short oblique fractures. Features a self-sustaining compression mechanism that requires no static screw to maintain compression during surgical operations.
Compared to traditional implants with a 1.5m curvature radius, the TFNA system's 1.0m curvature radius allows for distal placement in the center of the medullary cavity with twice the alignment accuracy.
