Important Safety & Operation Notes
  1. Sterilize temperature must be ≤ 135 °C (Improved type ≤ 155 °C ). If the sterilization temperature exceeds 135 °C, the motor will suffer irreversible damage.
  2. Normal bone drills can only support drill bits less than 6mm. Acetabulum reaming drills operate with a higher torque at around 300 rpm, and cannulated drills operate around 600 rpm (ideal for use with nails or K-wire).
  3. Batteries must be removed from the power tool immediately after surgery. Keeping the battery inside will trigger small automatic self-discharges, which significantly shortens the overall battery lifespan.
  4. The battery cannot be sterilized and is not autoclavable.
  5. The cranial bur must be thoroughly washed immediately after surgery with a purger to prevent blood from sticking inside the bur, followed by thorough drying.
  6. Ensure that the battery chamber inside the handpiece is completely dry and has no water left inside after sterilization.
  7. The cranial bur blade is crafted from medical-grade stainless steel. To avoid breakage, it is designed to be flexible and not excessively hard. Since it is subject to wear, we highly recommend replacing the blade after every single surgery.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the maximum sterilization temperature for this oscillating saw?

The standard sterilizing temperature should be kept at or below 135 °C. For the improved type, sterilization can handle up to 155 °C. Exceeding these limits will cause damage to the motor.

Can the surgical battery packs be autoclaved?

No, the battery pack cannot be sterilized and is not autoclavable. Please ensure it is kept out of the autoclave chambers during instrument sterilization cycles.

How many times can I reuse the cranial bur blades?

The cranial bur blades are manufactured from medical stainless steel to be flexible rather than overly rigid, preventing breakage. Because of this, they are subject to quick wear, and we suggest replacing the blade after every single surgery.

What is the battery type and capacity of this bone cutting machine?

The system runs on a high-capacity Ni-MH battery pack (1400mAh) operating at 7.2V to guarantee consistent and reliable performance during clinical operations.

Why should the battery be removed immediately after clinical use?

Keeping the battery inside the handpiece when not in use results in a slow automatic discharge. Over time, this natural drain significantly degrades the capacity and overall life cycle of the batteries.
